Social worker Rakesh Kumar is born in Khatima city of Uttarakhand, his father's name is Mallu Prasad and mother's name is Mrs. Devi, he has sisters and a younger brother.
Rakesh Kumar got his initial education from Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College and he did his graduation from the college.
From childhood, he used to read his mind and as he grew up, he put his mind in politics, education and social service.
